About the Foundation
Fondazione Area Cultura ETS is a non-profit foundation and Third Sector entity (ETS) under Italian law, with its legal seat in Rome. It grew out of the non-profit association Area Cultura, founded by the writer, actress and journalist Angelica Loredana Anton, who chairs the Foundation.
The Foundation promotes literature, poetry and the arts as tools for dialogue and civic growth. Its hallmark is a calendar of literary prizes and awards for excellence, with public award ceremonies held in Rome – at venues such as Palazzo Valentini, the Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese and the Sala Italia of UNAR.
